one note installation from store => command not supported

hi ,

my one note *** started to show the warning that it will switch to read only mode on october 14 and it recommends me to install new version from the store.

i tried several times but it ends up with error .

command not supported

we're sorry we can't continue because we weren't able to download a required file. please make sure you're connected to the internet or connect to different network , then try again .

well, i am sure my computer is connected to internet , what i tried so far:

1 - removed app store and reinstall it - same error

2 - tried to install from web based store - same

3 - tried to reinstall office 365 - same

4 - tried to do the same remotely on my other computer connected to different network - same error

5 - noting interesting in application, system ,setup event logs

6 - my last idea is to completely reinstall office 365 , but before doing this decided to ask question here .

anything else i can do to switch to new version of one note ?

removed one note ,tried to install fresh from store - same error , tried to use mobile operator instead of ground , the same , installed SaRa to know, that all troubleshooters now in get help , launched get help, it advices to install office from microsoft site , downloaded officesetup.exe and what's a miracle it started installation. and now i have new one note installed . thank you for your help :)

    Microsoft is phasing out the older OneNote for Windows 10 app, and starting October 14, it’ll switch to read-only mode, means you’ll still be able to view your notes, but editing and syncing won’t work anymore in that version.

    To keep using OneNote with full features, it's necessary to install the newer version called OneNote on Windows. You can find it free and available in the Microsoft Store.
