Build 27971.1. Widgets is missing the setting gear and the Sign in button is not working.

After updating to Build 27971.1, Widgets have a couple of problems.

  1. There is no Gear icon for opening settings.
  2. The "Sign in" button is not working at all. If I click on it nothing happens.

See attached screenshot.

Why this messy experiment?

    Hi C.K.

The Widgets problem on the last machine that was still failing with Build 27971.1 is now fixed after updating to Build 27975.1. The version of Widgets is still the same as before the update 525.28600.0.0. πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ

Good that now Widgets are back to normal. 🀞

FG, Mine looks almost the same as yours.

No Sign in, but on the Widget window

I have a "You have no pinned widgets" message.

    Hi FG,

I had exactly what you show in the picture. CK and I were discussing the matter. Was going to file a FBH report.

After a secondary reboot, everything came back to normal. My concern was where did my Weather App go. Merely rebooting corrected it.

    Regards,
