Hello Microsoft Support Team,
I’m having trouble accessing the full desktop versions of Microsoft Word and other Office apps under the student plan.
When I try to activate the student pricing or download the desktop apps, I receive a message that my email has “already been used for verification”. However, I only have access to the web-only (Microsoft 365 A1) version — not the full desktop version that’s usually included in student offers.
Here are the details:
I successfully verified my student email once before, but I no longer have access to full desktop apps.
My Microsoft account still shows that it’s tied to an education license (Word for Education → Windows), but when I try to install desktop apps it says I need to upgrade.
I’ve confirmed I’m signing in with the correct email and my school is eligible.
I would like to verify whether my account can be re-enabled for the Microsoft 365 A3 or A5 plan, or if I need to request a reset of my current student license so I can re-verify.
Could you please check whether my account is stuck under the free “A1” tier, and advise on how to upgrade or re-link it to the correct education subscription?
Thank you for your help — I’d like to continue using the full desktop apps as part of my student access.
Best regards,
Stella Fitzgerald
