You can do it, but Premium plans copy a bit differently. Copy the plan first, then link that copy to the destination Team, and finally pin it in that Team.
Open the Premium plan in Planner or at project.microsoft.com and choose the three dots menu at the top, then Copy plan. This makes a personal copy named Plan name - Copy. Be aware that the copy does not include group members or task assignments by design.
Open the copied plan. In the upper right select Group members, choose Add to a group, then pick the Microsoft 365 group behind the target Team. You can also trigger this prompt the first time you assign someone to a task, where you will see Add to a group. This connects the plan to that Team.
Go to the target Team in Teams and add a tab. Pick Planner and choose Add an existing plan, then select the plan you just linked to that group.
If your tenant still shows the Project tab for Premium plans, add a Project tab and pick the existing project there. If you do not see the plan in the list, it means it is not yet connected to the group, so repeat the previous step.
After the plan is pinned, reassign tasks as needed, since assignments do not carry over when you copy a Premium plan.
