Recurring Bill not showing on Microsoft - purchased at Currys

I purchased a separate Office 365 package from Currys with a laptop at the beginning of this year. They provided me with a letter and a recurring payment reference and told me I would be able to turn off the recurring bill at any time. I have spent months and months speaking to Curry's telling them that I do not have a recurring bill button on my microsoft account and they said I need to speak directly to Microsoft (whose telephone number does not work). I can see clearly that it states if you purchased through a third party you need to go to them, but Curry's keep sending me back to Microsoft, even after several calls, visits and complaints. Any ideas how I can ensure the recurring payment is not taken when it is due for renewal? It seems to me a bit of malpractice on the part of Currys? Just wondered if anybody else had experienced this and knows what can be done? Many thanks.

Hello,

It is correct, Microsoft doesn't process the payment or manage your subscription purchased via third party. It is clearly explained here: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/account-billing/manage-your-microsoft-365-subscription-purchased-through-a-third-party-44749f45-4c0b-5d41-a73f-7634b8d2a763

You might need to share this article with Curry. They shouldn't be sending you to Microsoft at all. If they still refuse to help you you might have to report them to consumer protection agency, or cancel your credit card to cut off this payment. Sorry.
