Updates on the Bing search not transferring through to Bing search engine

Hi, I've done the updates on Google. I've done the sync (multiple times). The data and images on Bing Places for Business shows as correct, but it is not showing as correct on a Bing search.

Have I missed a final step?

Thanks

Hello Admin at Matthews, thanks for posting this in our community.

First, please confirm the verification status of your listing by logging into Bing Places for Business. Go to the "My Businesses" section and check the status column. If it says "Verified," the listing has been accepted but may not yet be live. If it says "Published," it should already appear in Bing search. Sometimes listings stuck in "Verified" can take up to 15–20 days to fully propagate. If it’s been longer than that, I recommend escalating the issue through Bing support.

Next, check if there are any duplicate listings. Bing may prioritize older or unclaimed listings over newly updated ones. To verify this, open your business listing in Bing Places and look at the Business ID in the URL (for example, businessid=123456789). Compare this ID with the one showing in Bing search results. If they’re different, the search result is likely showing a stale or duplicate listing instead of your updated one.

Hope this helps

Kind regards,

John Oli
