Why am I being charged a monthly fee when I purchased Office 2021?

I purchased Office 2021 in March 2024 and now am being charged a monthly/yearly fee in order to use it. How do I stop this money grab?

If you purchased the one-time payment version of Office 2021, log into your Microsoft account on this link, do you find your Office 2021 licence correctly listed there, also do you find a Microsoft 365 subscription listed, if you do, you can cancel the Microsoft 365 subscription from there.
