Hi John! Are you referring to the new Outlook or classic Outlook (desktop app)? The steps are different depending on which version you're using. But technically, you can safely change it to Arial, Calibri, Segoe UI, Times New Roman, or any font you like, just make sure recipients also have that font installed to ensure consistent display.

If you’re using the new Outlook it uses settings synced with Outlook on the web (OWA). To change the default font:

    1. Open Outlook and go to the Settings (gear) icon in the top-right.

Click View all Outlook settings (at the bottom of the panel).

    1. Go to: Mail → Compose and reply.
      1. Scroll down to the Message format section.
      Choose your preferred: Font
        Size

           Color

              Style (bold, italic, etc.)

              Click Save at the bottom.

    Best regards,

    Kimberly
