I had MS Office with MS 365 on my personal computer (Macbook Pro, M2 chip, running Tahoe 26.0.1) through my work. I have retired and my access to the 365 account was deactivated. I purchased a standalone copy of office 2024 Home, deleted the old programs, deleted the office-related files in the library and containers folders, and installed the newly purchased office suite. When I open a document (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, or whatever), it asks me to activate 365 to edit or create. I don't need or want a 365 subscription. How do I install Office 2024 as a standalone?
