I was able to install some updates but word, teams & power point ketp stated "error updates" and not installing at all, even if I'd downloaded anew the updating installer

Sounds like the updates for Word, Teams, and PowerPoint might be stuck. Try restarting your computer and running the updates again through Microsoft Update instead of the individual installers. If that doesn’t help, repairing Office from the Control Panel usually fixes it quickly.
I've reinstalled completely and it resolved the problem. It took some time but TG is ok now.
