trying to update to Win11 25H2 but fails and even 2025-10 Cumulative Update for Windows 11 Version 23H2 for x64-based Systems (KB5066793) fails with Install error - 0x800f0922

run normal DSIM but not showing any corruption

    Hi Paul,

    To resolve the issue, please create a System Restore Point and do the following.

    Open the Registry Editor (regedit.exe) and delete the following key after exporting it:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\WINEVT\Publishers\{53e3d721-2aa0-4743-b2db-299d872b8e3d}
    

    See if that fixes the issue.
