I have MS365 Premium. In Word's Co-Pilot feature, the UPLOAD FILES feature is grayed out. I can't even click on it. It's happening in both desktop and online version of all my MS365 products.

Hi,

Sorry about the issue you're going into. If the "Upload Files" button in Word's Copilot is grayed out, it’s usually due to one of several common issues. First, make sure your Microsoft 365 Premium license is active and properly synced, go to File > Account > Update License. Next, confirm you're signed in with the correct account that holds the Copilot license, especially if you use both personal and work accounts. Then, check your privacy settings under File > Account > Manage Settings and enable all connected experiences. Also, Copilot requires the Current Channel or Monthly Enterprise Channel, if you're on a different update channel, some features may be unavailable. Finally, keep in mind that Microsoft is still rolling out certain Copilot features, so availability may vary by region or account type.

Kind regards,

I am pleased to share that I managed to get Co-Pilot back. In addition to updating, logging off, and other steps that are a blur to me, I simply removed my account in Outlook then signed back in. That synced my desktop with my account.

Yes, I am primary subscriber. I fixed it somehow by updating and logging out/in, but the Co-Pilot function is still missing and unavailable in the desktop version of Outlook. It's there in the web version. I am about to uninstall and reinstall Outlook. Maybe that will sync up. I will post here if I manage to fix it.

In general, I'm not happy at all with this troublesome subscription. I am going to another AI as a result and won't be renewing this.
