How to contact Microsoft for issues with certificate renewal

First off tags are not the correct ones. It should be learning but there is no such option.

My issue is that I cannot renew one of my certifications which is active until January 2026. When I try "take renewal assessment" button is grayed out and there is another text "certification required".

It's a common problem. I've already tried the suggested steps like closing window, logging out, logging anew and also from a browser in private mode. None helped. I'm at the step of contacting Microsoft.

The issue with this is that first I'm not sure if this is home or business case.

I called the phone and was not given a chance to speak with an agent. When I answered that I need help with certification renewal the machine told me that agents cannot help me with that and pointed me back to the help page, which in turns gives phone numbers to call Microsoft.

So I'm in a loop, without any means to contact Microsoft and without ability to renew my certificate.

Any help with up-to-date information will be greatly appreciated.

Note that if you managed to open a ticket a while back the steps may not be the same today.

For example Microsoft guidance for opening a case suggests to select learning, but there is no such category in the form.

Try another browser or in-private/incognito mode or try with another account.
