Hi, I'm John! I will help you with this.

From your battery report, it looks like your laptop isn’t completely shutting down but may be entering a low-power state called “sleep” or “suspend”. In this state, it still draws a small amount of power, which can explain why the battery drops slightly over time.

  • Make sure you’re actually shutting down your laptop and not just closing the lid or pressing the power button briefly (which might put it to sleep).
  • Sometimes USB devices or peripherals can keep drawing power even when the laptop is off. Try shutting down with all devices unplugged.
  • Make sure Windows Update and your laptop’s firmware/BIOS are up to date.

It’s normal for a small drop (like 1–2%) when fully off, but bigger drops could indicate something running in the background or a hardware issue.

I really hope this information is helpful! Let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.

Regards,

John J.D.
