Trying to use help in apps (Office) and get error message translated to:

"This command is unavailable"

"Organizations administrator has de-activated the service required for using this function"

From Swedish.

Same error regardless of using admin account or normal access account

Can't see any specific around this in the group policy but then I'm not into this part to often.

Open Word.

Go to File - Options.

Select General on the left.

Click Privacy Settings no the right.

Ensure the 'Enable optional connected experiences' setting is enabled and save that setting, then restart Word.

The error message you're encountering, "This command is unavailable. The organization's administrator has de-activated the service required for using this function," typically indicates that certain features or services have been disabled by your organization's administrator. This can happen for a variety of reasons, including group policy settings or specific configurations within your organization's Microsoft 365 environment.

Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue:

    1. Check with your IT Administrator: Since the error suggests that the service is deactivated, it would be best to consult with your IT administrator to confirm whether any policies have been applied that restrict access to help features in Office apps.
    2. Group Policy Settings: If you have access to Group Policy settings, you may want to review them to see if there are any restrictions in place regarding the use of help features in Office applications.
    3. Account Permissions: Ensure that both your normal account and the admin account have the necessary permissions to access help features. Sometimes, even admin accounts can be restricted based on specific configurations.
    4. Office Updates: Make sure that your Office applications are up to date. Sometimes, issues can arise from outdated software.
    5. Repair Office Installation: If the problem persists, consider repairing your Office installation through the Control Panel.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, further investigation may be needed, potentially involving Microsoft support for more detailed assistance.
