My company, Enterprise account for Office 365 overrides my personal account login.

First of all, I know that this forum is for peer-to-peer support, but since Microsoft is making it so difficult to find a link to contact support directly, I hope that someone who actually works in Microsoft support will see and respond to this post. For all others, please excuse my frustrated directness.

I have an MS365 account for large Enterprises, that is on my company laptop. I ALSO have a personal Office 365 account installed on my personal computer. I want to receive my company emails on my personal computer, but I do not want to directly access my OneDrive, or any other applications associated with my company account. If I open any office application running on my personal (not the web access one), it automatically logs me into my company account. If I close everything and log into my personal account on any application, every few minutes, it prompts me for my password for my company account. If I enter it, it again changes every app to the Enterprise account. If I do not enter it, I cannot receive company email in Outlook. This is an ongoing problem that I have spoken repeatedly with Microsoft Customer service. Every time, it ends with them telling me that I have the Enterprise version of Office 365 installed. Their solution, every time, is uninstall all Office Apps, Download the personal version (they even give me a direct link), and then log into my personal account, which entails reconfiguring every single option on every single application and waiting for OneDrive to realize that all of the 1000´s of files it´s trying to syncronize are already done.

Days later, when I finish, all works well for a few days and just like magic, suddenly, the installed version has gone back to the Enterprise version and all my applications are reopening my company login.

I have three questions:

  1. How do I, without uninstalling, reinstalling and spending days reconfiguring everything, get back to the personal version of office365 that I have paid for and most importantly, prevent it from changing again?
  2. How can I, without triggering a shift from my personal account to my company account, include my company email and calendar in Outlook?
  3. Why does Microsoft say that a personal account offers direct customer support, when it is virtually impossible to get to it without 30+ minutes of checklists and flow charts that no only don´t relate to the question I have, but also keep running me around in circles?

Thank you.

Hello,

Can you go to your Windows Settings > Accounts > Access Work or School (note, it is the briefcase icon, not the envelope icon). Then see if the organization email address is still listed? If so, click on it and then disconnect it.

Restart the computer.

Next time when you need to sign into your org account on apps, you might see a pop up asking you if you allow org to manage device settings, please make sure you click on "sign into this app" only on the lower right of the pop up.
