Phone Link will not start anymore

When attempting to start Phone Link a window pops up for only a second and then disappears, and Phone Link does not actually start. It worked yesterday. I have an Android phone.

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

First, try repairing or resetting the Phone Link app.

  • Search for Phone Link in the search bar on the taskbar.
  • Right-click the results, then select App settings.
  • scroll down and select Repair.
  • If repairing does not fix the issue, select Reset.

Reinstall the Phone Link app.

Open PowerShell (Administrator) Window.

User's image Run the command below to uninstall Phone Link.

Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.YourPhone -AllUsers | Remove-AppxPackage

Once uninstalled, download and install the Phone Link app from the Microsoft Store.
