Hi There,
This usually causes this:
Multiple user profiles: You may have created a second account for testing or as a backup.
Microsoft account vs. local account: If you switched from a local account to a Microsoft account (or vice versa), both can appear on the sign-in screen.
Linked accounts: Adding another email under “Accounts” in Settings can create an extra sign-in option.
How to remove one account
Confirm which account you want to keep
Go to Settings → Accounts → Your info and check which account is your main one.
Remove the extra account
Settings → Accounts → Other users → select the account you don’t need → click Remove.
If it’s just an email alias
Go to Settings → Accounts → Email & accounts → remove the extra email.
Restart your PC to confirm the change.
Let me know how it goes, Happy to help!
