I would like a refund on Word Home. It is not compatible with my computer. Person helping me install it should have seen this but didn't.

I purchased Word Home and had a technician share my screen to install it. My computer is Ventura 13.7.8. Word Home is for 14 or greater. So this is not at all usable for me. I would like a refund. What do I need to do to have that happen?

    Hello,

I saw this is for MacOS. Hello,

Was this a purchase made via Apple Store on your MacOS? If so, you need to request it from Apple, not Microsoft, because the payment processed via Apple.

    Microsoft explains it here:

    https://support.microsoft.com/account-billing/how-to-get-a-refund-on-a-microsoft-subscription-67dca30b-b323-44d5-acc2-e02f9902c472

Apple's refund request instruction is here: https://support.apple.com/118223

If you still want Office installed on your computer, using the existing license, you can do so. You can install the latest available version for your OS and it will still work. Here's my article on how to do that: Most Recent Office You Can Run - Best Practices

P.S. You probably won't receive any updates, as is a slightly old version.
