SQL server 2014 for Calypso

I am trying to install SQL server as part of a program package ZEISS Calypso. I get though the install but it fails to start the service. I can not start it manually. I have made sure the TLS 1.2 and the .NET 3.5 are enabled. This is on Windows 10 Enterprise verrsion 22H2.

    Thank you, this has been resolved. it was an issue where the database engine could not detect the security.dll. The installer I had was very old and I needed one with service pack 3.

    The TSL support would affect connectivity, not startup. You need to go thru the startup log and determine the the real error. The most common issue with windows 10 is an unsupported disk sector size.
