anytime Word calendar template year is not available

If you have used a macro-enabled template in the past for this, it should still be on your computer in the folder you have designated for saving custom office templates.

When you use one of the templates from Microsoft, it is stored there.

I expect that within about 30 days Microsoft will come out with 2026 calendars.

Good day. I'm Jhun an independent advisor. In regards with your query, the Anytime calendar is a perpetual calendar. It does not include a year field, because it's meant to be reused for any year. The days and dates are manually editable and not tied to a specific calendar year.

You can try some workaround instead,

A. Use a specific year calendar template. If you want Word to automatically generate dates for a year.

1. Open Word.
2. Go to File> New
3. Search for “Calendar”
4. Choose a template like: 2025 Calendar, Monthly calendar (any year). These will ask for a year when created.

B. Manually add the year. If you like the Anytime Calendar layout:

1. Insert a Text Box or edit the header.
2. Type the year manually (e.g., 2025).
3. Save it as your own custom template.

C. Use Excel instead, this is best for automation.

1. Let you enter a year once.
2. Automatically adjust dates and weekdays.
3. Can then be copied into Word if needed.

As of now, a number of templates for 2026 calendars are available including the following:
