I have built an agent using Copilot Studio with websites as the knowledge source. If any new revisions or updates are published on those websites, will the agent automatically refresh its knowledge base? Or do I need to republish the agent weekly to ensure it stays updated? Please clarify.

When you use a website as a knowledge source in Copilot Studio, the agent automatically refreshes and re-indexes the website content periodically (typically every 24 hours). You do not need to manually republish the agent for new website revisions to be included.

Key points:

  • Website knowledge sources are crawled and updated automatically by Copilot Studio.
  • There may be a short delay (up to 24 hours) before new or updated website content is reflected in the agent’s responses.
  • Manual republishing is not required for website content updates.
