Hi Paolo PB Bianco,

The error code 0x800F0922 typically indicates insufficient system reserved partition space or a failure to connect to the update source, which can be more common in virtualized or RDS environments. Since you've already tried DISM, clean boot, and reset the SoftwareDistribution folder, the next recommended step is to manually download the KB from the Microsoft Update Catalog and install it offline using elevated command prompt. Additionally, you can verify that the .NET Framework and servicing stack updates are current, as missing prerequisites can cause rollback behavior.

If the issue persists across multiple servers, it may be worth checking whether any Group Policy or firewall rules are interfering with update installation or rollback triggers.

You can try and let me know the update. If it’s helpful, please hit “Accept Answer” so I know your concern is being resolved. Thank you!

Jason.
