Currently, Windows 11 does not provide a built-in option to display the day of the week next to the date on the taskbar. The taskbar typically shows the date in a standard format, but customization options for adding the day of the week directly in that space are limited. You may consider using third-party applications or widgets that can provide additional customization for the taskbar, but this would go beyond the default settings available in Windows 11.

The answer provided by the AI above is not correct.

    Open the old Control Panel

Set View at the top of the old Control Panel to large icons.

    Open the Region applet.

    Click the 'Additional Settings' button

Select the Date tab on the next dialog.

On that tab, you can manually set the Short Date to this: dddd dd/MM/yyyy

Save that setting and that will add the day of the week beside the date on the taskbar.
