I'm sorry to tell you that your suggestion doesn't work, but I found a solution, this function above my picture is called "click and enter (or else)":

    1. Open file - advanced options.
    2. Uncheck the "click and enter" function.

In addition, this function allows you to input text anywhere, just double click the mouse.

    Greetings!

This is Tin, I'll do my best to help. Looks like you want to disable the text alignment icon under or next to your cursor. Let me assist you.

Note: This is actually a system design or the updated one as of now. But let's see if you can remove it.

Please open the MS Word app, and click File, then Options and choose General.

Under User Interface option, please uncheck the following:

    • Show Mini Toolbar on selection
    • Enable Live Preview (Untick this if you don't want formatting previews.) And please hit OK.

Please close and reopen the MS Word and check if disabled the icon on your cursor.

Please let me know how it goes.

    Thanks,

    Tin
