Teams continuously crashing in WIN 11

Hello, Teams has been problematic on my system for a very long time. Normally, it will simply crash and restart in a loop for a random number of times before it stays running. Running Teams as Admin seems to shorten the cycle but not resolve it.

As of last week, I am unable to join a live or scheduled Teams call at all. I receive the "select devices" prompts to join but when I click join or transfer to this device, the session immediately crashes. I pulled the event viewer logs and this log is created during each crash:

Every driver in my system is up to date and I've optimized Teams as much as I know how to do. I'm also running Teams as an Administrator. I attached the complete log file from Event Viewer also. How do I fix this? I work remote and this problem is massively effing up my work.

I resolved this issue by uninstalling Teams, navigating the root App Data folder, and searching for any files or folders under that directory with "teams" in their name. I found a ton of errant files left over after I uninstalled. Once I manually hunted down and deleted all of those files in the entirety of the AppData folder, not just in the AppData/Teams folder, I was able to reinstall Teams and it is now working again.

MMDeviceAPI.dll is responsible for enumeration of the available audio devices.

Try to unpair your Bluetooth speaker and then pair it again. Even better would be to disconnect this device and then try with another output device, as e.g. wired headset.
