Hello,

You need to cancel your subscription: Please go to https://account.live.com

Sign into your Microsoft account. Then go to Subscriptions. Click on Manage for the subscription plan you want to cancel.

Then have your husband share with your Microsoft account/send invitation to your microsoft account https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/office/share-your-microsoft-365-family-or-premium-subscription-b389b9ce-3ae3-4a82-9017-39d79972fcba

Make sure he sends the invitation to the same Microsoft account of yours that used to have the personal plan. This will ensure that your files are not impacted.

On your apps like Word, Excel, you might see license expired. Don't worry. Just go to Files > Accounts, Update license and log in again.

To switch your personal Microsoft 365 account to your husband's family share account without losing any files, follow these steps:

  1. Backup Your Files: Before making any changes, ensure that all your important files are backed up. You can do this by downloading them to your local device or moving them to another cloud storage service.
  2. Cancel Your Personal Subscription: Sign in to your Microsoft account at account.microsoft.com/services. Locate your subscription under "Services & subscriptions" and select "Manage". From there, you can choose to cancel your subscription. You will retain access to your files until the end of your current billing period.
  3. Join Your Husband's Family Account: Your husband can invite you to join his Microsoft 365 Family subscription. He can do this by signing into his Microsoft account and navigating to the family section to send you an invitation.
  4. Transfer Files: Once you have accepted the invitation and joined the family account, you can transfer your files back to your new account. If you are using OneDrive, you can easily drag and drop files between accounts if both are synced to your device.

By following these steps, you should be able to switch accounts without losing any of your files.
