I understand you renewed your annual subscription on January 7, 2026, but when you log in to your account, it shown activation expires on February 1, 2026.
This happens because when activation data inside the Office apps does not refresh, even though your Microsoft’s billing system is correct.
Here is what you can do:
First let verify the billing on your account:
- Go to [https://account.microsoft.com/services]
- Sign in using the same Microsoft account that paid the subscription.
- Confirm it shows: “Renewal date: January 6, 2027”
If it does, then your billing is confirmed correct
Next, let fully refresh the Office activation:
- Close all the Office apps on your device (Word, Excel, Outlook, OneNote, etc.)
- Wait 30 seconds, then re‑open an Office app such as Word
- Go to File > Account
- Click Sign out, then close Word
- Reopen Word and sign in again with the same Microsoft account
This will force Office to re‑pull the license from Microsoft’s servers.
