To whom it may concern,

I'm following instructions on this site:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/artifact-signing/quickstart
I have read:
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/artifact-signing/faq#what-are-my-support-options-when-i-set-up-trusted-signing
I have these roles in Artifact Signing Account:
Artifact Signing Identity Verifier
Artifact Signing Certificate Profile Signer

However I'm constantly missing some step in the process.

ERROR:
Identity validation request failed.

An error occured while submitted request.: Your Organization has already requested identity validation with a different primary email contact. Please reach out to support here - https://aka.ms/tssupportoptions. CorrelationId: d22c65f7-0244-c4e2-cf1b-890f064e2408

Please assist with the process.

Best regards,

Hey there, Albert Gregl

My original answer was based on this message from your post

An error occured while submitted request.: Your Organization has already requested identity validation with a different primary email contact.

When reading about Azure artifact signing, only one account can be used to make an identity validation request for the organisation. The organisation then holds the previous verification attempt, the user just manages this. You mentioned that you have a university account. Please can you sign into the Microsoft Entra ID blade here: https://portal.azure.com/#view/Microsoft_AAD_UsersAndTenants/UserManagementMenuBlade/~/AllUsers

Do you see any other account listed on your tenant?

If you do find another account on your tenant, please can you see if this account can create or continue with the identity request, as this would be the one who managed the validation request?

What you screenshot it seams as an old account what I used at university.

Just to clarify. The screenshot I used was from my account, not yours. I am not able to access sensitive information on your account. Just in case you had some confusion on what information I can access.

You can also submit a support ticket through the help and support blade here: https://portal.azure.com/#blade/Microsoft_Azure_Support/HelpAndSupportBlade

The support team on the billing side would be able to look at account information and see what is going on.

Hope this helps,
Nathan
