tried uninstalling and reinstalling bluetooth drivers - didnt help.

no yellow warning signals on device manager bluetooth page.

can't revert update either - there's no go back button on Restore page.

    AI crap didn't help

actual solution: turn off PC and unplug PSU and wait 10 minutes or Hold down Power button on PC for 30 seconds, Plug back in and turn on PSU and boot Bluetooth or Wi-FI should now be back

that helped for weird reason (not just me).

    Hello Sergei,

Thanks for coming back with the solution. The power cycle fix (unplugging PSU for 10 minutes or holding power button 30 seconds) working on a Bluetooth issue is unusual but makes sense given what KB5077181 changed.

This update modified USB-related system files (USBHUB3.SYS and UsbPmApi.sys) which handle USB power management and hub control. Many Bluetooth adapters communicate through internal USB connections, so the power cycle essentially forced a complete hardware re-initialization that software driver reinstalls couldn't achieve.

I appreciate you posting what worked. This would be useful to others in the same situation.

It seems that the update KB5077181 may have caused issues with your Bluetooth functionality in Windows 11. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem:

    1. Check Bluetooth Settings: Ensure that Bluetooth is enabled in your Windows settings. Go to Settings > Devices > Bluetooth & other devices and make sure Bluetooth is toggled on.
    2. Run Bluetooth Troubleshooter: You can run the built-in Bluetooth troubleshooter. Go to Settings > System > Troubleshoot > Other troubleshooters, and find the Bluetooth troubleshooter to run it.
    3. Update Bluetooth Drivers: Since you mentioned reinstalling the drivers didn't help, make sure you check for updates in Device Manager. Right-click on your Bluetooth adapter and select Update driver.
    4. Check for Windows Updates: Sometimes, subsequent updates can fix issues caused by previous ones. Go to Settings > Windows Update and check for any new updates.
    5. Check Hardware Manufacturer's Website: If the issue persists, visit your hardware manufacturer's or OEM's website for any updated Bluetooth drivers or profile packs that may be compatible with Windows 11.
    6. Reinstall the Update: If the problem started after the update, you can try to reinstall it. Sometimes, reinstalling the update can resolve issues that occurred during the initial installation.

If none of these steps work, you may need to consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for further assistance.
