A Microsoft file hosting and synchronization service.
Hello,
The error indicates that the OneDrive program files on your computer are corrupted. Because the system still thinks OneDrive is installed, trying to install it again gives you the "Newer version is installed" error.
To fix this, you must fully uninstall the broken version first.
Don't worry about your files. Uninstalling the OneDrive application will only stop the sync connection. It does not delete the OneDrive folder on your hard drive or the files in the cloud.
Click Start, type Settings, and open it (or click the gear icon). Go to Apps > Apps & features list, look for Microsoft OneDrive, select it and click Uninstall (If asked to allow changes, click Yes). Once uninstalled, download the latest version of OneDrive from the official Microsoft website and install it.
Sign in when prompted, and it will compare your files (Scanning) and resume syncing without losing your data.
