How do you update your Windows 11 ver 22H2 when your PC says

"Get the newer version of Windows to stay up to date

Your version of Windows has reached the end of service"

I upgraded from Windows 10 Home to Windows 11 Pro in September.

Now i can't download the latest updates.

Hello

Windows 11 Version 22H2 has already reached end of support some time ago. In between, you are missing V23H2 (which also is discontinued), V24H2.

When a version has reached end of support, there's no way you can update it via Windows Settings.

At this point, you may or may not be able to update it via the installation assistant. worth a try:

https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows11

Download the installation assistant tool, and run it and upgrade it from there. If it doesn't work, sometimes due to the gap in between is too big, then your only option is backing up your files and do a clean install.

To update your Windows 11 version 22H2, you need to be aware that this version will reach the end of updates on October 8, 2024. If your PC is indicating that your version has reached the end of service, it is essential to upgrade to a newer version to continue receiving updates and support.

Here are the steps you can take to update:

    1. Check for Updates: Go to Settings > Windows Update and click on Check for updates. This will search for any available updates for your system.
    2. Manual Update Options: If no updates are showing, consider using the Windows 11 Installation Assistant or downloading the latest ISO from the Microsoft Software Download page.
    3. Contact Support: If updates still do not appear, you may need to contact Microsoft Support for further assistance.

Make sure to back up your data before performing any major updates to avoid data loss.
