Hello, On January 26th, I subscribed to the Microsoft 365 1-year free offer. According to the promotion, I was supposed to receive a 1-year free LinkedIn Premium subscription within 7 days of signing up. I want to confirm that I successfully verified my UK university email address as part of the signup process. Additionally, I have never previously subscribed to or used a LinkedIn Premium offer on my account, so I should fully meet the eligibility requirements. Now its the February 20th, almost a month later past the 7-day window, and I still have not received the LinkedIn Premium activation email or offer link. I have already checked my spam/junk folders. Could someone please help me look into this and provide the next steps to claim the offer? Thank you.>

    Hi Thisul Dilmith Wickramarachchi

Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum and thank you for your question

First, please kindly wait 24 hours before attempting the alternative verification again and please not that it must be a complete 24 hours, not simply until “next day” to ensure any cooldowns expire.

After 24 hours, please kindly try again. You can also try using Upload documentary proof, instead of the other methods. If you ever received a false error message, the human review process may be more reliable. Please click the link for “Use a different method” and then click the link for “Upload documentary proof

Note: Kindly enter their personal (non-EDU) email address, not your school email in the Profile section - email address.

Thank you for your understanding and please let me know if you need any further assistance

It seems that you have followed the necessary steps to qualify for the LinkedIn Premium offer associated with your Microsoft 365 subscription. However, since you have not received the activation email within the promised timeframe, I recommend the following steps:

    1. Check Eligibility: Ensure that your university email address is correctly verified and that you meet all eligibility requirements.
    2. Contact Support: Since the offer is tied to your Microsoft 365 subscription, you should contact Microsoft 365 Support for assistance. They can help verify your subscription and check the status of your LinkedIn Premium offer.
    3. Check LinkedIn: Sometimes, offers may also be visible directly in your LinkedIn account under the premium section, so it might be worth checking there as well.

If you continue to experience issues, reaching out to LinkedIn support may also be beneficial, as they can provide specific guidance regarding the activation of your premium subscription.
