Help! I am trying to create an outlook adress for my son. Went well untill the " Let's prove you're human" test: "Hold down the button".

I tried everything: Hold during the tekst is visible and release when it disappears. Keep holding till the checkmark appears. Holding the button for longer than the checkmark. Tried timing till the bar was exactly full etc. Tried it all many times, no result. Is there a human outdare who can help a fellow human to pass this test so I can create the outlook axccount for my son.

Thank you in advance for any tip that helps me further!

Joska

The problem was an adblocker. temporarily disabling this blocker was the answer. Problem is now solved.

    Hi Joska,

Thank you for sharing your experience. I understand how frustrating it is to be stuck at the “Let’s prove you’re human” step when creating an Outlook account. Based on my knowledge this issue usually occurs due to browser compatibility, cached data, or interference from extensions.

The reason the press-and-hold test fails is often because the browser does not register the action correctly or the CAPTCHA service encounters a glitch.

    Please follow these steps.

Use a different browser such as Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome, and clear your cache and cookies before retrying. Disable any browser extensions, especially ad blockers or privacy tools, as they can interfere with CAPTCHA. If possible, switch to an InPrivate or Incognito window or try a different device and network. When performing the test, hold the button steadily until the progress indicator completes and the checkmark appears, then release

May I ask if you are creating the account on a desktop browser or a mobile device?

I hope this answer is helpful, if you have any questions, feel free to reply.

    Best Regards,

    Noel.

It seems you are having trouble with the human verification step while creating an Outlook email address. Here are a few tips that might help you successfully pass the "Let's prove you're human" test:

    1. Timing: Make sure to hold down the button for the entire duration that the text is visible. Release it only when the checkmark appears.
    2. Button Pressure: Ensure you are pressing firmly enough on the button. Sometimes, a light touch may not register correctly.
    3. Browser Issues: Try using a different web browser or clearing the cache and cookies of your current browser. Sometimes, browser issues can interfere with such tests.
    4. Disable Extensions: If you have any browser extensions, especially those related to privacy or ad-blocking, try disabling them temporarily.
    5. Try Again: If it still doesn't work, wait for a while and try again. Sometimes, repeated attempts can lead to success.

If these tips do not resolve the issue, consider reaching out to Microsoft support for further assistance.
