A cloud-based identity and access management service for securing user authentication and resource access
Hello Lianpeng Sun
As discussed over teams, Check your role
• You must be one of these built-in roles in Microsoft Entra (AAD): – Cloud Application Administrator – Application Administrator • If you’re not in one of those roles, ask a Global Admin to assign you one, or to do the owner-assign step for you.
Assign via the Entra admin center (portal) • Sign in at https://entra.microsoft.com/ with your Cloud Application Administrator or Application Administrator account • Navigate to Entra ID > Enterprise apps > All applications • Select your application (you’ll need the Object ID – the “Client ID” you mentioned is the appId, but you can also grab the service principal Object ID from the overview page) • Click Owners (on the left blade) then Add • Search for and select the user you want to make an owner, click Select
Sign in to the Azure portal
Go to Microsoft Entra ID
Select Roles and administrators
Click Global Administrator
You will see the list of users who are assigned the Global Administrator role in the tenant
Microsoft Azure
Direct Entra admin center path (new portal)
You can also go directly via:
Identity → Roles & admins → Global Administrator
