How to fix microsoft apps not opening due to smart app lock

Hi there!

Have you tried checking your Smart App settings to see if

Just open Windows Security (search for it in the Start menu by pressing windows key on your keyboard).

1. Click App & browser control.
2. Click Smart App Control settings.
3. Change the setting from "On" to Evaluation

Note: Turning it off is often permanent, and you cannot re-enable it without resetting or reinstalling Windows
