The streak and tracker issues are usually caused by how and when the Daily set is recorded across devices and time zones.
Based on the documented behavior:
- A streak will reset to day 1 if the Daily set is not completed on time for that day.
- Using a VPN or a device with a different time zone can cause the system not to recognize a completed Daily set, because streaks are based on the device’s time zone.
- Being signed in with a different Microsoft account on one device can also make it look like progress is missing.
To troubleshoot and prevent further issues:
- Verify that all devices (PC and phone) are set to the same correct local time zone and that no VPN is in use when completing the Daily set.
- Confirm that the same Microsoft account is signed in on both PC and mobile when doing Rewards activities.
- After adjusting time zone/VPN/account, complete a new Daily set from one device and then refresh the Rewards page on the other device to see if the tracker aligns.
- If the streak has already reset despite completing activities on time and with correct settings, it cannot be manually restored. Future streaks can be protected by enabling Streak protection if available on the account.
To enable and check Streak protection:
- Sign in to the Rewards dashboard at rewards.bing.com on desktop.
- Turn on the toggle next to Streak protection (on mobile, the toggle is near Daily set).
- While it is enabled, select the “Streak Protection” title in the information bar to see how many of the 14 yearly protection days remain.
If, after confirming time zone, VPN, and account, the Daily set still does not track correctly across devices, contact Microsoft Rewards Support from the Rewards dashboard so the account can be reviewed.
