Device Stolen, how can I find it?

I had my laptop stolen, Is there any way I can find it. When I try and locate it or lock it. It doesnt let me. I really need my laptop and any help will do. Thanks

Sorry to hear that..

The device location would only work if these conditions are met:

  1. You had Find My Device turned on prior to this.
  2. The computer will be turned on and connected to the internet.

In most cases, unfortunately, they are being wiped / clean installed when stolen. In that case, there's no way it can be located.

Sorry, I know this can be hard to hear, but I do want to give you the correct information.
