Microsoft 365 D0 I have to use a seat from the nb? The product ID does not activate the desktop.
If so It seems I cant use the same email on both. Or am I just going about this wrong??

You can't use the product key more than once; after the initial setup, the key has become permanently linked to your Microsoft account.
Instead, you have to install using your account. On the new device, go to https://account.microsoft.com/services , sign in and then click the Install button.
While both of these answers are correct and allowed me to install 365 during the installation a separate window popped up that is completely back and only remains visible for about one second and when it extinguishes I am back to the sign in page and none of the 365 apps are available. Any advice on what to do or where to call.

Hello, good day and thanks for your question. Please check and confirm if the subscription is already reflecting on your account by going to a browser and then go to account.microsoft.com/services and login with your Microsoft account.

Try accessing your Microsoft account from an in private browser window (called an incognito window if you are running the Google Chrome browser). Does that let you complete the installation?
Also, which version of Windows do you have?
