Greetings!

This is Tin, sorry to hear that you're unable to add your payment instrument to your account for you to pay for your subscription. Have you tried to use other browser and check if the issue persists? Or how about clearing cache and cookies? To do that, please press CTRL +SHIFT +DEL then choose the Cache also Cookies, then hit Clear Now. If the issue persists, please try to use other device. And if it's still the same, kindly reach MS Accounts & Billing to check this:

Kindly open this link: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/contactus/

Ensure that your MS Account has been signed in

Type "Chat with an agent" and hit Enter.

Please click the "Contact support"

Please select the "Products and services"

Please follow the prompts to connect with a live agent.

You may also choose the "Call me back" option if you prefer to receive a call.

Once you're connected to the Live Agent, please let them know about your issue so they could check your account and address your concern.

Thank you,

Christine

To resolve the issue and pay the subscription after a card has expired, follow these steps.

    1. Clear the past-due subscription
      1. Go to Services & subscriptions at https://account.microsoft.com/services and sign in with the Microsoft account used for the Microsoft 365 subscription.
      2. Locate the subscription that shows as past due or has a payment problem.
      3. Select Pay now.
    2. Fix or add a payment method
      1. When prompted, check the payment method:
        • If the existing card is expired, update its details (for example, new expiration date) or
        • Add a new payment method (new card, PayPal, or other supported option).
      2. Make sure the new card details (number, expiration date, name, billing address) exactly match what the bank has on file. If the card is declined, verify there are sufficient funds and that the card is active.
      3. After the payment method is set, select Next to complete the payment.
    3. If the new card still cannot be added
      1. Some banks require extra security checks. Confirm with the bank that:
        • Online and international transactions are allowed.
        • Recurring payments to Microsoft are not blocked.
      2. If the browser shows errors or does not respond when changing payment methods, try:
        • Signing out of all Microsoft sessions.
        • Using an InPrivate/Incognito window or a different browser.
        • Clearing cached cookies.
    4. Confirm the subscription is active
      1. After payment succeeds, return to Services & subscriptions and verify the Microsoft 365 subscription shows as active.
      2. If Office apps still show subscription or payment warnings, close all Office apps and reopen them.

    Note:

    • Gift cards, subscription cards, or Microsoft account balance cannot be used to pay for a past-due subscription.
