Sending, receiving, and organizing email in Outlook.com
Since two days ago it has started worked as normal. Since then, I've had no issues so it appears to be fixed.

Since 25 April 2026, Outlook.com has issues opening most emails.
Plain text emails and basic HTML emails open without issue. But most emails will not open and I get the error message shown in the screenshot.
I'm using the latest version of Firefox (Version 150.0.1).

Emails display without issues when I tried using Chrome.
So the issue occurs using Firefox. Why?

2026-04-30T00:02:36.82+00:00 When I click on an email to open it in the reading pane, the error is shown. If I double click an email to open it in a new window, the new window is blank.

There is a known problem logging into Outlook.com right now. Microsoft is working on it. See the status at the bottom of the page https://status.cloud.microsoft/m365/ to keep track.

2026-04-29T15:42:30.4566667+00:00 Hi Brian - Thanks for the link, but I have no issues with signing in. The problem I'm facing occurs when I try to view emails and instead of displaying the email, Outlook shows a white page with the blue "Something Went Wrong" text as shown in the screenshot.
