Windows 10 Enterprise 2019/2021 End of Life

Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC 2021 has an extended support date out to Jan 13, 2032, while the regular Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2021 doesn’t show one. That’s not a typo it’s intentional. Microsoft treats IoT and non‑IoT LTSC differently because they’re aimed at different use cases. IoT devices often need longer lifecycles since they’re embedded in hardware that’s expected to run for a decade or more, so they get that extended support window. The standard Enterprise LTSC 2021, on the other hand, is currently only listed with mainstream support, and no extended date has been published.

That doesn’t mean it won’t get one later, but as of now, it’s not aligned with IoT’s 2032 timeline. If your planning depends on that longer lifecycle, IoT LTSC is the safer bet. For regular Enterprise LTSC, I’d recommend keeping an eye on Microsoft’s lifecycle page in case updates are announced down the road.
