Configuring preferences and options in Outlook on the web for business
Hello @Hasilló György,
Thank you for the information you shared.
I’ve done some testing in my Outlook web environment, and I was able to successfully disable both auto‑capitalization and spell check/correction by following the steps below:
When composing a new email or replying to an existing one, please click on the “Editor” icon on the ribbon, then select “Editor settings.”
In the panel that appears, you can toggle all the options off (as shown in the screenshot above), including auto capitalization and correction features.
After turning these off, the email should no longer automatically capitalize text or apply spell checking.
If you do not see the Editor icon, please try clicking the arrow on the right side of the ribbon to expand or switch the layout, which should reveal additional options, including the Editor icon.
Could you please try these steps on your side and let me know if it works for you?
Kind regards,
