Hello Microsoft.

Upon attempting to crop a photo in the pictures application, I constantly run into grave difficulty with the need to put a tremendous amount of time to the side only to crop a single photo.

I understand that the staff at Microsoft were trying their best to add a helpful feature to the photos application, however I don't believe that they themselves have run into the misfortune of trying to crop a photo on Microsoft photos, nor has the feature actually been tested upon release.

I do believe the lack of complaints stems from the lack of the need to crop photos compared to individuals like myself, or the lack of the use of this feature.

I strongly suggest that Microsoft removes this feature and takes from apple the example of how a cropping feature should work as well as put the current tedious feature to the test by asking Microsoft employees to crop a single photo.

I expect to see improvement in the next update as well as the near future.

Please write back, please respond.

Thank you.

Hi T K,

I really wish I could assist you directly on this issue. However, the behavior you're experiencing is tied to back‑end systems and service functionality, and unfortunately, we don't have the authority or access required to investigate or make changes at that level.

Please note that this is a user-to-user support forum. Moderators, contributors including external Microsoft employees cannot directly intervene in Microsoft product features or access back-end systems. Our role is limited to providing technical guidance on reported issues, requests, or ideas.

Thank you for your understanding, and I hope the support team can resolve this for you soon.
