Can you go to https://account.live.com > Your info, make sure the language field is not blank or incorrect. Make sure you have it set up to the correct language. Review your country and region as well. Make sure they are correct. Then update your billing address again, and see if that helps.

The error indicates that the billing service can’t complete the address update at the moment. Use these steps to work around it and ensure the address is updated correctly:

    1. Verify the address on the payment method
      • Go to the Microsoft account Payment options page: https://account.microsoft.com/billing/payments.
      • Sign in with the same Microsoft account used for the subscription.
      • Locate the card or payment method and select View or edit card.
      • Re‑enter the billing address exactly as it appears on the bank or card statement (including punctuation and abbreviations), then select Save.
      • If the address is already correct, re‑save it without changes to force a refresh.
    2. Retry in a clean browser session
      • Open a private/incognito window in the browser.
      • Go again to the Payment options page and repeat the edit.
      • This avoids cached data or extensions that can interfere with the billing page.
    3. If the error persists
      • Wait a short time and try again, as the message indicates a temporary service issue.
      • If repeated attempts fail, contact Microsoft account/billing support from the Payment and billing section of the Microsoft account site so the billing team can check the account backend and complete the update.
