Trying to add Microsoft Business Standard account to Windows Sign On

I just purchased a new laptop and when attempting to log in to Windows it is not accepting my business standard account credentials. The only way to log in was through my personal account. I have added the business account through work/school option, however, I am wanting to set it as Primary so I can log into Windows with it instead of the personal account.

To help determine the next steps, could you please help check which version of Windows you are currently using?

You can do this by pressing Windows key + R, typing "winver", and pressing Enter. A window will appear showing whether your device is running "Windows Home" or "Windows Pro".

If your device is using "Windows Home", this behavior is expected. Windows Home does not support signing in using a work or school account (Microsoft 365 business account) as the primary login. In this case, you can continue using your personal account to sign in to Windows, and use your business account within apps such as Outlook, Teams, and OneDrive.

If your device is using "Windows Pro", then it should be possible to sign in using your business account. In that case, please let me know, and I’ll guide you step by step on how to configure it correctly.

Hello! Yes, thank you so much. I've been distracted by the next MS issue. I signed up as the only account/user, but the trial courtesy email I received the other day (letting me know when I will start getting charged for the subscription) was stating that "the estimated price of this subscription is $308.25 for the 25 licenses you have today." I only ever had one. I'm aware this is billed annually and I am not wanting to be charged the $3699. I was planning to reach out to someone next Monday, the 22nd, but if you can assist that would be appreciated more than you know!
