Transferring music to samsung phone

I'm trying to copy a folder of an album in .wma form from my Windows 11 computer to my Samsung S25. It was easy in Windows 10. I copied the folder and paste it into the music folder on my phone. But when I go on my phone, it's not there even though on File Folders it showing up but with two swirling arrows. All the other albums in that artist folder are showing an icon like a phone. Any help is appreciated. This used to be an easy thing. Now I'm not so sure.

Hi. I'm Brian and I'll try to help.

It would work on Windows 11 exactly as it worked on Windows 10. When you connect your S25 to your computer using a USB cable, the S25 should appear as a drive on your computer in File Explorer and you should be able to browser to the Music folder on the phone and copy to that folder. However, they should be MP3 files. Samsung states that they no longer include a WMA codec. If you want to play WMA files, you'll need a player, like VLC or Musicolet (what I've used), on your phone to supply the proper codec.
