I recently got a new phone.
I have been using the authenticator app to access my 365 as well as other websites and such that require 2 step verification.
I have 2 email addresses with one being the main one I use...in fact the only one I use to sign in to these sites and services.
When I transferred my data over to the new phone I thought i did everything correctly to switch the authenticator over...and i sent the old phone back....without backup!
the authenticator started to not work
I tried several ways to rectify the situation including deleting the authenticator account and creating it over again, however when I do this it wants to use the authenticator app to sign in or to send a code to the email i cannot access.
I contacted MS support and chatted with a tech that says I switched the main email address on the account i'm trying to use and I do not have access to anything...I am at a loss...I need help
I did the 'send feedback' thing on the app but have not heard anything!
