I bought a new laptop and in error created another Microsoft 365 account. I now have two accounts that I am paying for and only need one.

Please advise how I can resolve this issue.

Hi,

If you accidentally created a second Microsoft account and subscribed to Microsoft 365 on it, the first step is to identify which account has the subscription you want to keep.

Sign in to https://account.microsoft.com/services and check which account shows the active Microsoft 365 subscription you want to continue using.

If you no longer need one of the subscriptions and decide to cancel it, select the subscription, then go to Manage > Cancel subscription.

If you are eligible, a refund may be issued in accordance with Microsoft's refund policy.
