Hello, I need to update my legal name for my Microsoft certification exam (DP-900). Pearson VUE advised me to contact Microsoft Credentials Support. However, whenever I open the Credentials Support link (https://aka.ms/credentialssupport), it redirects me to Engage Center – No Access, so I cannot create a support ticket. My exam is scheduled for 17 July. Could someone please help me access the correct support portal or create a support request for my legal name correction?

For a legal name correction on a Microsoft certification profile, use this path first:

    1. Sign in to the Learn profile that is tied to the exam.
    2. Go to settings.
    3. Follow the instructions to update the Legal Name.
    4. If the page shows a message telling support contact is required, submit a case through Credentials Support.

If the Credentials Support page redirects to Engage Center and shows No Access, a similar reported case indicates that retrying the Credentials Support entry with a personal account may work after a second attempt.

When the support request page opens, use these values:

    • Product family: Learning
    • Product or Service: Microsoft Credentials
    • Type of Support: Professional No Charge
    • Preferred contact method: Email

Include the following in the case:

    • a clear summary that the legal name must match government ID for the DP-900 exam
    • the scheduled exam date of 17 July
    • the Learn username from Learn Settings
    • screenshots of the redirect or No Access message

    Important details:

    • Credentials support is provided by email, not phone.
    • If the legal name cannot be changed in Settings, the documented path is to file a ticket with Credentials Support.
    • Pearson VUE is the correct contact for exam delivery or scheduling issues, but legal name correction on the certification profile is handled through the Learn profile settings and Credentials Support when escalation is required.
